Levyra-deepsound
A native music player, stream extractor, and private offline vault for Android & Windows.

✦ The Pure Listening Philosophy
🎧 Music should feel like yours.
Not rented. Not profiled. Not trapped.
Levyra is built around a simple promise: the music you save, the way you listen, and the history you create should remain useful beyond a session — and beyond Levyra itself.
💿 01 · Keep the music
Downloads are standard, high-bitrate M4A files saved directly to Music/Levyra, with artwork, artist, album, and lyrics embedded inside the file.
No proprietary vault required. Your music remains usable in the car, on a DAP, through a hi-fi system, or in any compatible media player.
🎚️ 02 · Stay close to the sound
Android uses Media3 / ExoPlayer; Windows uses its own libvlc core. Playback stays native to the platform instead of living inside a web wrapper.
GAPLESS PLAYBACK · VOLUME NORMALIZATION · LOW-OVERHEAD AUDIO
🎙️ 03 · Remove everything between you and the song
Synced LRCLIB lyrics keep the words tied to the music with tap-to-seek karaoke, while SponsorBlock can skip supported intros, silence, dialogue, and other non-musical segments automatically.
The goal is simple: less interface friction, more music.
🛡️ 04 · Keep your listening private
Play counts, listening time, streaks, playlists, and listening insights are computed locally in SQLite.
No analytics profile. No cookies. No mandatory Levyra account.
Keep the file. Keep the history. Keep control.
Offline playback is not a fallback in Levyra. It is ownership.✦ New in 2.5.7 · Verified High-Quality Audio
🎧 Higher fidelity, without gambling on the wrong song.
Levyra can now verify an alternative high-quality audio source before playback, while keeping the original track identity, metadata, queue state, artwork, lyrics, history, and recommendations untouched.
🎚️ Verified HQ RoutingLevyra can resolve a genuine higher-bitrate stream — up to 320 kbps when available and validated — with automatic 160/96 kbps fallback when the requested tier is not actually usable. |
🧬 Identity-First MatchingTitle, primary and featured artists, album, duration, explicit state, ISRC and version markers are checked before an alternative source is accepted. Remix, live, acoustic, sped-up and ambiguous matches are rejected. |
🛡️ Seamless FallbackIf the verified source is unavailable, stale, restricted or not meaningfully better, Levyra keeps the normal playback path. No track identity swap. No forced match. No broken queue. |

✦ Architecture & Engineering Blueprint
⚙️ Two native runtimes. One engineering language.
Android and Windows stay independent where platform behavior matters, while sharing the same discipline for state, playback resilience, and local ownership.
| Layer | 📱 Android | 💻 Windows |
|---|---|---|
| Interface Surface |
ui/Jetpack Compose screens, gestures, Canvas, and visual presentation. |
app/Compose Multiplatform UI, windows, application lifecycle, and updater. |
| State Orchestration |

Engineering Workflow
- Fork & Branch: Create a focused topic branch from
main:git checkout -b feature/your-feature-name - Architecture Contract: Preserve unidirectional data flow (UDF), immutable Compose state, and low-latency audio pipelines.
- Quality Gate: Run repository validation before submitting:
python scripts/ai_quality_gate.py --profile fast - Pull Request: Open a PR with a concise description of changes and test verification evidence.
[!TIP] Scope & Guidelines: Keep pull requests focused on a single concern. For major architectural changes or new feature proposals, please open an Issue first to coordinate the implementation approach.
